Tell me about your project
As part of the complementary Skills course “Excellence in Scientific Communication’, Rachel Giles and Sharon Deveson Kell taught our PhD students the importance of explaining scientific ideas in a way that the general public can understand. During the course, the fellows wrote and edited summaries of their own projects to increase the reach of their incredible science. We hope that these summaries can better explain the importance of the work we are doing to a wider audience, including patient organizations.
